Pride Month was really hard for all of us in 2020: La Falla is an amazing magazine produced by Il Cassero, an important LGBT association in Bologna, the most queer city in Italy. The pandemic crisis made it impossible for a parade to be done, so when they asked me to illustrate their only print edition of the year in June, my goal was to celebrate Pride as a thing that exist inside all queer bodies, standing defiantly even as we do the hard thing and mask and social distance - all with the setting of the gorgeous typical Bologna arches.
