I've started working on it before the pandemic, by doing the pitch who traveled for two years before finding a home in 2020, and it was out in autumn 2022, so it was quite a journey. I have gone through various stylistic approaches, and settled on a semi-flat pastel technique, done in Procreate.
It's the story of a family formed through international adoption and it explores this delicate theme without pulling any punches, but without wallowing in drama either.
It was nominated for 'Best Italian Comics' at the Boscarato Prizes (Treviso Comic Book Festival 2023).
